Landmark

Mar, 27, 2011Posted in Urban & Cityscape

One of London’s iconic landmarks got to be Battersea Power Station. Build in the 1930s stopped its production of electricity in 1984 and have pretty much been empty since. Bar the odd movie, tv-series appearances and all the companies that wanted to build something there. The best one I think a theme park but that fell through.

    I really enjoy industrial landscapes.

Photoshop has a really good tool for these cases. Lens correction tool would fix the vertical perspective easily.

Thanks for your comment. I know what you mean but I actually like it it on this photo. Sometimes on the F707 it is really a problem because of its lens.

Great monochrome of that iconic landmark. I especially love the plain sky, it gives the building an even more surreal feel.
